. Start-up Phase: When the pump starts or system pressure is below
the preset compensation pressure, the variable mechanism (e.g., the

. Compensation Phase: Once the system pressure reaches the preset
compensation setting, the hydraulic pressure acts on the
compensator valve spool and the variable piston. This pushes the

automatically reducing the pump's displacement.
. Pressure Maintenance Phase: When an actuator stops and only
minimal flow is needed to compensate for system leakage and
maintain pressure, the pump's displacement reduces to a trickle

motor is very low, resulting in high energy efficiency.
